The Cat Folx SF Team
Wilma Goodyear - OwnerPronouns: She/Her/Aunty
I am a passionate cat lover and have always had cats - I've even traveled the world with them. Our Cat, Roxy, moved with us from Sydney to London, to Barcelona, Back to London, To Puerto Vallarta and finally here to San Francisco. I've been called the Crazy Cat lady most of my adult life. It was a running joke for years that when I was old I would be surrounded by Cats. |
Talk about manifesting my destiny.
Here I am doing what I love and hanging with my favorite people - Cats - All Day Every Day.
I have been caring for other people's Cats for 30+ years. When my wellness clinic had to close due to the pressures of COVID I reassessed everything and I started doing more Cat-Sitting. It has grown into my Full Time "Job" quickly. Not that I even think of it as a job, because I love it so much. I now can't imagine a better way to spend my days.
I'm a Kiwi born in Holland that has been traveling the world since I was a child. I have lived in San Francisco since 2010. I finally hung up my hat and have stopped moving around. I love San Francisco! I share my home with my husband Paul and our 2 (CrAZy) MisFits - WaWa and our new addition Quincy (The Dude). Snuggles and playing with my purry babies is always the best part of my day. I really don't know what I would do without them.
In Australia I volunteered with the Cat Protection Society so I have interacted with cats of all sorts including shy, neglected and traumatized kitties. Cats seem to love me as much as I love them. I have a Veterinary Assistant Certification from SF City College and am currently studying to become a Cat Behaviorist. With my experience in working with felines in their own homes and with traumatized kitties in shelters I have seen it all. Whether it be urinating outside the box, aggression or other behaviors that you find worrying or difficult to handle; I can help.
I have served Clients with a high level of professionalism all my life. I owned and operated an Acupuncture Clinic and have been a Practice Manager in the Medical Field. I was a Registered Nurse in Australia before moving to San Francisco in 2010. I'm meticulous and organized and have given all manner of medications. My experience as an RN, working during the peak of the AIDS Epidemic at the largest HIV Clinic in Australia and both my Hypnosis and Life-Coaching Skills and Accreditations mean I am also able to offer formal Coaching to my hooman clients. I can coach those of you who are dealing with the grief associated with loss of a pet, and I can support those of you who are coming to terms with the difficult decisions that must be made around the end of life and palliative care of your most precious ones.

More about me:
- I believe in magic and have a deep connection to the natural world and animals.
- I believe strongly in the nourishment found in real food. I love to grow it, source it, prepare it and eat it.
- I believe in ritual and the healing and centering that it creates.
- I spend hours pottering in my garden, exploring farmer's markets and foraging for food in the wild.
- I believe that Mother Earth is the source of all life, not a resource.
- I believe we all need to change to grow, after all if there was no change there would be no butterflies..... Imagine a world without Butterflies?!
- I feel most powerful when walking through the world with quiet grace. Sometimes I also believe that it's perfectly OK to say Fuck this Shit and then move on.
- I am deeply connected to the Divine Feminine and believe that what the world needs now is to tap into it more deeply.
- Music with soul moves me and I love to get lost on a dance floor. My favorite song is The Boss by Diana Ross.

Rheanna - Cat Sitter Extraordinaire
Pronouns: She/Her
Hello! I grew up around cats and many other animals. My bond with the feline species intensified when I took a job working at a cat specific veterinary hospital in 2013. I have worked in the veterinary field since then and have had many furry friends come into my life. I wouldn't have it any other way! I have one kitty of my own named Timo Meower who is named after a former San Jose Sharks Player, Timo Meier . I look forward to looking after your loved one. Thank you for the trust you have put in me - I take the care of your loved ones very seriously! |
Paul - Cat Sitter Extraordinaire
Pronouns: He/Her
Wilma is my wife and together we have been pawrents to ten fantastic felines. I've always loved Cats and have a natural affinity with them - After all I'm a Leo. My first Cat when I was a wee young thing was very smart and used to switch the heater on in the winter time. I was forever getting into trouble because of her actions, but she was worth it. I honor each cats uniqueness and love their extraordinary intelligence. I have volunteered with rescue kitties and have been told that I have the magic touch. If kitty will let me I love to give them kitty-massage.
When I'm not hanging with Felines I love Food and Music. I have been a club DJ for 38 years and have been remixing and producing since the early 90's. You may have heard of me @SanFranDisko. You can catch me spinning every weekend here in San Francisco and around the USA.

Ebony - Cat Sitter Extraordinaire
Pronouns: She/Her
I LOVE Cats.... Maybe because I'm more like them than people now?
I can be charming and delightful and draw you in, but also don't require someone around fussing over me too much or too often. I'll come to you when I need something- likely a coffee/tea or "a snack", as I can handle the litter box all on my own at this age. But when I don't want to be bothered, I'll go hide until I need to be found again.
Truly, I come from two generations (maybe more, I just don't know) of peculiar women cat-lovers. Even my brothers love(d) cats. They're just funny and special and lovable, no matter what.

Wawa (the Best Cat) and Quincy (the Dude)
Wawa is an eight year Burmilla. She LOVES company, both hooman and feline. She is the social butterfly in every situation and always on hand to give head boops and have a good long chat. Most important to her is that she is considered the "Best Cat" like the true Diva she is. She enjoys bossing everyone around, lap-time with mamma, birdwatching, lounging in the sun, playing, eating!! and snuggling with her brother.
Quincy is the latest addition to our family. He has some hearing loss so communicates purrfectly with his eyes. When he enters a room he lets out a little chirp to announce his arrival. Confidence just oozes out of him and he can be a little mischievous but mostly he is laid back and sociable - the ultimate Dude. When he enters the land of nod he goes OUT! He enjoys sun worshipping, eating, playing with Da Mouse, snuggling with sis and surveying the scene from atop his cat tower.
